The most recent set of college football rankings were released Sunday and there was a lot of movement from the previous week.
Most notably, the Oklahoma Sooners, fresh off their 30-13 loss to Notre Dame Saturday night slipped six spots in the AP poll to No. 14. OU was also ranked No. 14 in this week's Coaches Poll.
In the all-important BCS standings, the Sooners fell to No. 12 and are still very much in contention for a BCS bowl berth. In fact, ESPN's Brad Edwards is projecting the Sooners to go to the Rose Bowl and face Nebraska.
Oklahoma State debuted in the BCS rankings this week at No. 24, and also moved to No. 24 in the Coaches Poll thanks to their 36-14 win over TCU Saturday. The Cowboys are still on the outside looking in at the AP poll as the third team out.
Tulsa received 17 votes in the AP poll, being ranked as high as No. 17 by one voter. The Golden Hurricane also received 19 votes in the Coaches Poll.
