European election observers have been invited to the U.S. by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to keep an eye on some of our polling places, none in Oklahoma that we've heard of.
I think it's unnecessary and insulting.. here's what you had to say... Patty from Newcastle first: "I don't know why you should feel insulted, something to hide?"
Kyle writes from Paden: "Republicans aren't concerned about protecting the vote they are concerned with limiting the number of democrat voter turn out and it's a pathetic move from republicans.."
Rex from Choctaw: "What is the surprise? The President has always maintained he thinks the U.S. should be more like Europe."
Shelby in Wellston says: "I have been thinking for sometime we should have monitors in Oklahoma.
K writes: "Maybe the shame of having foreign observers will finally force the Republican Party to rein in their lunatic fringe."
Finally Matt writes: "Putting Americans under the thumb of a world government is what Liberals have wanted since Wilson was president."
Finally, Dan watching on the internet in Indonesia writes: "America is THE shining example of Democracy in the world. It is an insult to all Americans that some in our government have asked for International Observers to ensure we follow a "democratic" method in the upcoming elections."
