Recount Requested In Oklahoma County Sheriff's Race

Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel's opponent lost the election by more than 74,000 votes, but he is asking for a recount.

Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel's opponent lost the election by more than 74,000 votes, but he is asking for a recount.

Darrell Sorrels has filed a petition for a recount, but it's coming at a price.

According to the petition, Sorrels will spend almost $26,000 to have all absentee ballots and all votes cast in every precinct in Oklahoma County recounted.

The recount will happen on Wednesday.
