A Cleveland County Sheriff's deputy conducting a traffic stop Thursday arrested a man wanted for first-degree murder in California.

The deputy spotted a 1997 GMC pickup with a cracked windshield near N.W. 27th Street and Shields in Moore. The deputy pulled over the truck, and 54-year-old Guillermo Delgado was behind the wheel.

The deputy soon learned Delgado's driver's license expired in 1994. He was arrested and booked into jail. When detention officers fingerprinted Delgado, they learned he was wanted for murder in California.

Agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement also want to interview Delgado, so they placed a detainer on the suspect.
