Three Rogers State women's soccer players were named to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-America College Division Women's Soccer Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Lauren Hager, Loren LeForce and Jordan Beasley were each named to the All-America Third Team. The trio becomes the first RSU women's soccer players to receive the honor.
Hager, a senior from Belgrade, Mont., is majoring in Medical Molecular Biology and holds a 3.86 GPA. She started in all 72 games of her four-year career with the Hillcats. Hager is a three-year captain, netting 21 goals and dishing out 10 assists. She is a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-District performer and a Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athlete.
LeForce was a mainstay on the backline, starting in all 18 contests this season. The junior from Coweta, Okla. was a member of the RSU defense that allowed less than one goal per game this year. She is majoring in Accounting and holds a 4.00 GPA.
Beasley, a Lafayette, La. native, is a sophomore Medical Molecular Biology major, holding a 4.00 GPA. She started in all 13 games she competed in this season, finishing second on the team in goals scored, netting six with two game-winning goals. She led the team in assists, dishing out seven on the year.
