Pilot Injured After Small Plane Crashes In OK Panhandle

A pilot was injured in a plane crash in Beaver County, located in the Oklahoma panhandle, Thursday night.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed with News 9 that they are working the scene of the plane crash, that happened about right and a half miles west of US highways 83 and 412 in the southwest corner of Beaver County.

Authorities say the pilot was flying a small plane. An exact model was not given.

The pilot was taken to a local hospital. His condition is unknown. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
