One person was killed early Friday morning in a rollover accident on Lake Hefner Parkway near N.W. 63rd Street in Oklahoma City.
The car was in the southbound lanes when the accident occurred. A witness told police the driver was going too fast, lost control of the car, and tried to over-correct. The car rolled over, ejecting the driver.
Police say the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene.
Lake Hefner Parkway was closed for more than two hours while police investigated the accident and cleared away the wreckage. It reopened around 3 a.m.
The name of the deceased driver has not been released.
