Homicide Investigations In OKC Rise To 93

OKC Police have now learned one of victims was pregnant at the time of the shooting and lost the baby, raising the number of homicides in the metro to 93.

Oklahoma City police are now investigating the metro's 92nd and 93rd homicides.

Jose Garcia, 48, and Latosha Hawks, 27, were shot Friday night while sitting inside a car near S.W. 41st Street and Santa Fe. They were both rushed to a hospital in critical condition. Garcia has now died.

Hawks remains in critical condition. However, police have now learned Hawks was pregnant at the time of the shooting and lost the baby. The District Attorney's office has confirmed that they will accept a murder charge for the loss of the fetus, making this death homicide 93 in Oklahoma City.

Police currently have no suspects in this shooting, but say two men in a black four door sedan got into a fight with the victims before opening fire.
