Parts of Interstate 44 in Oklahoma City were shut down for more than two hours due to fuel spill.

Parts of Interstate 44 in Oklahoma City were shut down for more than two hours Friday afternoon due to fuel spill.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the eastbound and westbound I-40 off-ramps to westbound I-44 (going south) were closed, and westbound I-44 was narrowed to one lane between I-40 and S.W. 15th St just after 1:30 p.m.

The westbound I-44 off-ramp to S.W. 15th was also closed for cleanup following a fuel spill.

The ramps and the interstate reopened at 3:28 p.m.
