A man accused of posing as a Census worker and shooting another man in the face back in 2010 has pleaded guilty to the crime.
John Wellington, 67, was sentenced to ten years in prison after posing as a Census worker back in 2010 and shooting Howard Wolff in the face.
Wellington admitted to trying to kill Wolff, who was dating his ex-girlfriend at the time.
Wellington pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He was sentenced to ten years, and must serve at least eight years.
He's also ordered to pay $19,819 in restitution.
