Standoff Ends At Warr Acres Home

Police in Warr Acres ended a standoff in Warr Acres around 11 p.m. Monday.

According to police, it began about 8 p.m. when officers responded to the report of a man with a weapon in the area of 58th Terrace and Redmond in Warr Acres.  Police say the man is barricaded inside a home.

About three hours later, police threw tear gas into the home and went inside. They took the suspect into custody. No one was hurt.
