The Logan County Sheriff's Office has released the name of a man found dead Wednesday outside a shed along Highway 105.
Deputies say the man was 35-year-old Bunk Frank Pergl. He was reported missing July 7 of this year. Investigators were able to positively identify him through the clothing and jewelry found on the remains.
Pergl lived near the rural area where his body was found. The homeowner who discovered the body said he went to the storage unit to check on his property, and that's when he found Pergl propped against a wall, along with mounds of trash. He told News 9 the remains were skeletal, and appeared to have been there for a long time.
The sheriff's office has not revealed how Pergl died.
