MACU Fall Sports Land Eight Student-Athletes On NCCAA Scholar-Athlete List

The Mid-America Christian University Fall Sports programs have landed eight student-athletes on the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Scholar-Athlete award list. To qualify, a student-athlete must be at least a junior in academic standing with a minimum 3.4 grade-point average.

The student-athletes receiving this award are broken down by sport as follows:

Men's Golf: Jacob McElhany (3.47 GPA, Business Administration)

Men's Soccer: Brian Armstrong (3.88 GPA, Business Administration), Javier Hernandez (3.59 GPA, Mathematics)

Women's Soccer: Michelle Medina (3.85 GPA, Business Administration), Julia Nimal (3.59 GPA, Behavioral Science)

Volleyball: Becca Anderson (3.85, Math/Business Administration), Callie Solie (3.96 GPA, English/Business Administration), Taryn Walker (3.43 GPA, Behavioral Science/Business Administration)
