Farmers Insurance and BodyWorks Collision Centers of Norman together donated a van to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Customers of both companies help to fill the van with non-perishable food items.

"Bodyworks Collision Centers is proud to join in the fight against hunger and is thankful for the opportunity to partner with Farmers Insurance and the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma this holiday season," said Chris Donnelly from Bodyworks Collision Centers of Oklahoma City.

According to the Regional Food Bank, one in six Oklahomans deal with hunger every day. The majority of those served by the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma are children, seniors living on fixed incomes and working families who cannot make ends meet. Each week, the food bank provides food to more than 90,000 people in 53 central and western Oklahoma counties.

"Hunger is a year-round issue in Oklahoma," said Rodney Bivens, executive director of the Regional Food Bank. "We are grateful for this van donation, which will allow us to pick up donations and run our programs."

Now you can help be a part of the solution. Through January 15, Chesapeake will match all donations made to the Regional Food Bank - up to $1 million.

To make a tax-deductible donation to the Regional Food Bank, call 405.604.7111 or visit the regionalfoodbank.org.
