A mother and her four children who were killed in a house fire the day after Christmas were laid to rest on Saturday.
According to the fire department, 28-year-old Jeanine Bonnet and her four children, Natalie Leon, 8, Samantha Leon, 7, Matthew Leon, 5, and Kara Leon, 3, were inside their house in Oklahoma City when it caught on fire on December 26. They were killed in the fire.
The funerals for the victims were held Saturday afternoon in Newcastle.
Fire investigators say the fire was sparked by a space heater that was too close to a couch. The home had no working smoke detectors.
