No. 13 Oklahoma State appeared poised to give No. 2 Baylor quite a fight on Sunday in Waco.

With just over nine minutes remaining in the first half, the teams were tied at 23. Then the Lady Bears completely took over.

BU's Odyssey Sims hit a 3-pointer that sparked a 19-3 run to end the half. Then Baylor opened the second half on a 20-3 run to ultimately blow out the Cowgirls 83-49.

Baylor's defense was suffocating during its 39-6 run over a 17-minute span, extending its nation-leading home winning streak to 47 games.

Baylor was led by Brooklyn Pope's 18 points and Brittney Griner's 14 points and 10 rebounds to improve to 12-1 and 2-0 in Big 12 play.

For the Cowgirls, Liz Donohoe had 13 points and Toni Young added 12 points and 11 rebounds, who fell to 11-2 on the year but winless at 0-2 in the Big 12.

Oklahoma State will try to get its first conference victory on Tuesday against No. 21 Kansas in Stillwater.
