One In Custody After High-Speed Chase In NW OKC

Oklahoma City Police were involved in a high-speed chase in the northwest part of the metro, Saturday night.

The chase began around NW 23^rd and Portland, and entered dangerous territory for a short time when the suspect entered the westbound lanes of Interstate 44 heading east.

The chase came to an end near NW 22^nd and Warren when the suspect crashed his vehicle. As a precaution, an ambulance was called to the scene, but the suspect was not critically injured.

The suspect is now in police custody.
