Mother, Son Shot At SW OKC Apartment Complex

A mother and her 13-year-old son were shot in their apartment in southwest Oklahoma City, Sunday night.

It happened just after 7 p.m. near Interstate 44 and SW 17^th St.

They were both taken to a hospital with what police described as "non-threatening injuries".

Police are still trying to figure out what happened and are hoping to talk to anyone who heard or saw anything.

The suspect is described as a tall, white male with a mustache possibly. He was last seen wearing all black with a black beanie on his head.

No other information is known at this time.
