Suspicious Fire Destroys Midwest City House

Midwest City firefighters are investigating what appears to be an act of arson that destroyed a home near N.E. 10th Street and Lloyd Drive.

Just after midnight, firefighters were called to the 1100 block of Lloyd Drive to battle a house fire. It was the third time they'd been called to the home, the second time in 24 hours.

The house was vacant and no one was hurt, but investigators say because they've been called to the house so many times, they believe the fire is the work of an arsonist.
