Norman police are looking for three suspects in connection with a shooting that sent one man to the hospital last Friday night.

Officers responded to the shooting at a house in the 3300 block of Woodsboro Drive at about 10 p.m. Friday. The resident at the home, 24-year-old Phillip Thomas Wren, was transported to the hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say one man initially approached the house asking to use a telephone because of car trouble. However, witnesses told police that two other men fired shots at Wren near the front door of the home.

Detectives believe robbery may have been a motive, since some personal property was taken.

Police say Wren is now in stable condition at OU Medical Center.

If you have any information in this case, call Detective Gary Hopcus at (405)-321-1600 or Norman Crime Stoppers at (405)-366-7867.
