Police Arrest One Person In Hit And Run Accident In NW OKC

Police have arrested one person in a hit and run accident in northwest Oklahoma City that sent one pedestrian to the hospital.

The accident happened just after 4 p.m. Monday along Lake Hefner Parkway at N.W. Expressway when a pedestrian was struck.

Authorities say the pedestrian, a 59-year-old man, was transported to the OU Medical Center. He's listed in serious condition.

The driver of the vehicle involved was taken into custody by Oklahoma City police for leaving the scene of an injury accident. His identity has not been released.
