Christian Littlehead, a defensive tackle from Broken Arrow, is no longer part of the Oklahoma State football team. He made the announcement this morning (Tuesday, Jan. 29) on his Twitter account.
"I will be transferring at the end of the semester. I am thankful for everyone that I have met at OSU and the time I spent here."
Littlehead who played at Sequoyah High School in Tahlequah started in four games for the Cowboys in 2011. He fell to third-string this past season where he played in eight games and recorded four tackles.
It's unclear what prompted Littlehead's departure. During his time at OSU, he has had some run-ins with the law including an assault and battery charge in August and a public intoxication charge in May. In December of 2011, he pled guilty to drug paraphernalia charges and received a deferred sentence for which he completed a six-month probation last August.
It's unknown where Littlehead plans to transfer. Out of high school, Rivals.com ranked him as No. 50 in the nation and No. 17 in the state among defensive tackles.
