Police arrested two women who are accused of shoplifting at an Oklahoma City department store Wednesday afternoon.

Erica Lynn Broner, 26, and Erika Marie McClellan, 22, are accused of stealing more than $300 worth of clothing items from the Dillard's department store at the Quail Springs mall in Oklahoma City.

A camera operator at the Loss Prevention Office told police that Broner had shoplifted some items on Tuesday. But they were unable to get her into custody that time. However, Broner returned to the store with McClellan at about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Broner reportedly picked out several clothing items from the juniors' department, and took them to the dressing room. But when Broner and McClellan left the dressing room, they were carrying a pink shopping sack that appeared to be larger than when they went into the dressing room, according to the camera operator.

The camera operator then contacted security on the floor. Both women were taken into custody as they attempted to leave the store without paying for the items.

All of the items were stuffed into the pink shopping sack, according to police.

Both suspects were taken to the Oklahoma County Jail on charges of larceny of merchandise.
