Top-ranked Baylor has been nearly unstoppable this season and that trend continued in Stillwater on Saturday as the Bears rolled the No. 19 Oklahoma State Cowgirls 81-62.
BU's Brittney Griner scored 30 points to go with 10 rebounds, seven assists and three blocks as the Bears won their 19th-straight game and swept the regular-season series against the Cowgirls.
The Lady Bears made a statement with an 18-2 run in the first half after OSU took a 21-16 lead on a Liz Donohoe 3-pointer and Baylor never looked back.
BU scored the first seven points of the second half to stretch its lead to 18, effectively eliminating OSU's chances of a comeback.
OSU shot just 31.6 percent from the floor but managed an impressive 27 second-chance points to keep things respectable.
The Cowgirls (15-5, 4-5 Big 12) were led by Donohoe's 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting. Only two other players scored in double figures with Tiffany Bias and Toni Young scoring 13 and 12, respectively.
In addition to Griner's 30, BU got a solid 15-point outing from point guard Odyssey Sims as the Bears improved to 20-1 and 10-0 in Big 12 play. Baylor shot 55.6 percent from the floor and outrebounded OSU 44-38.
The Cowgirls will try to end their two-game losing streak on Tuesday when they host TCU at 7 p.m. The Horned Frogs are 7-13 overall and 0-9 in the conference.
