An Oklahoma County deputy was injured in an accidental shooting Monday afternoon.
It happened Monday afternoon during a training exercise at a gun range located at 4001 N. Air Depot Avenue. The range is not open to the public and only used by law enforcement.
The deputy was accidentally shot in the leg by another deputy who was checking his weapon.
The deputy was transported to a local hospital in stable condition, suffering from a broken femur. Surgery to repair the deputy's leg is expected to take place February 5.
