Accident On I-44 Briefly Shuts Down Eastbound Lanes At Penn

Traffic on eastbound Interstate 44, at Pennsylvania Ave., was briefly blocked after a three-vehicle accident, Wednesday afternoon.

Multiple ambulances have been called to the scene, but no information on injuries has been released.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed that three wreckers were called to the scene, shortly after the accident was reported.

Traffic was blocked for about 20 minutes while crews worked to clear the roadway. The highway has since been reopened.
