Firefighters Contain Grass Fire Near Luther

Firefighters have contained a grass fire at N.E. 220th Street and N. Luther Road near Luther.

The fire was burning just north of the Turner Turnpike. The wind pushed flames toward an open field and no structures or homes were threatened.

Jones and Luther Fire Departments responded.
