Senior pitcher Morgan Bratcher came out with the best game of her career on Tuesday afternoon, throwing a no-hitter on the road against Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College.

Bratcher, a Chickasha native, was just one walk away from a perfect game. In her five innings in the circle, she threw 11 strikeouts on the way to a 14-0 shutout.

Bratcher earned her second win of the season. She has an ERA of 1.62 and has 20 strikeouts on the season.

Bratcher joined the Drovers in 2011 from Seminole State. Last season, she played under her maiden name, Singleton.

The no-hitter was the first of the season for the Drovers. It was also the team's first shutout.

Brooke McLeod went on to shut out Hillsdale 15-0 the following game. She gave up just three hits in her five innings. Both games were called early thanks to the mercy rule.

Bratcher and McLeod were joined by several other players who also had an outstanding doubleheader.

Shortstop Taylor Smith went 7-for-8, scoring four runs and batting another nine runners in. Hannah Neill went 5-for-7, driving in four batters while scoring five runs herself.

Katie Jirak crossed the plate five times while first baseman Sara Reeves scored four times.

The Drovers are 6-2 on the season. They travel to Arkansas to play the Central Baptist College February Meltdown Tournament. There, they are scheduled to play No. 6 Central Baptist, No. 14 Williams Baptist and Columbia College, who is receiving votes in the Top 25.
