An apparent domestic dispute ended with a man being shot to death Wednesday evening.
Just before 5:30 p.m. police responded to a home in the 2700 block of N.W. 12th Street.
CSI units and homicide detectives are still trying to determine where the actual shooting took place. Neighbors say they heard three gun shots.
"It's scary, It's really scary, especially when you have kids, you just don't expect it," said a neighbor.
"We're a nice little neighborhood, and just our own little piece of paradise here. And this is just kind of a random bit of trouble," said nearby neighbor, Bruce Hall.
Oklahoma City Police say the domestic fight broke out inside a home on NW 12th, and at some point ended up outside. The body of the male victim was found outside the home.
"We still got interviews that we need to do. We've still got a lot of investigating that we need to do before we can determine exactly what happened," said Lt. Don Holland.
Holland says a wife, father, and husband were detained.
"It's pretty quiet normally. It's definitely not something I come out and see every day," said neighbor Jay Elliott.
"I've lived here 15 years, and never had anything like this," said Hall.
Police say they do have someone of interest in custody, but investigators are still trying to determine a motive.
