Cowgirls Upset On The Road By TCU

Delisa Gross hit a layup with 1:04 remaining that ended up being the game-winner, giving TCU a 64-63 win over Oklahoma State, the Horned Frogs' first Big 12 victory of the season.

The Cowgirls had taken a 63-53 lead on a 3-pointer from Tiffany Bias with 5:01, but the Horned Frogs closed the game on an 11-0 run to steal the victory.

The Cowgirls had two turnovers and were 0 for 5 from the field in the final five minutes, including a pair of 3-point attempts by Kendra Suttles in the final minute.

Oklahoma State was led by Liz Donohoe's 22 points while Toni Young scored 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the double-double.

Gross led the Horned Frogs with 13 points while Donielle Breaux scored 12.

TCU didn't eclipse 40 percent shooting, hitting just 38.6 percent from the field. Meanwhile, the Cowgirls hit just 40.3 percent, including 9-of-30 from 3-point distance.

OSU is back in action Saturday afternoon when the Cowgirls host Oklahoma for part two of Bedlam. Tip time is set for 2 p.m.
