Edmond Man, Guilty Of Murdering Toddler, Sentenced To Life In Prison

The Edmond man found guilty of killing his girlfriend's toddler was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

A judge sentenced 24-year-old Rico Berry on Friday afternoon.

Berry was found guilty of killing the 2-year-old child on Feb. 4. Jurors deliberated for two and half hours before returning the ‘guilty' verdict and recommend the life sentence without the possibility of parole.

Berry was also found guilty of child neglect with a recommendation he serve a separate life sentence.
