Crews Douse House Fire In Piedmont

Crews battled a house fire in Piedmont, Wednesday evening.

Firefighters were called to the scene, located at 1269 Paulette Dr., just before 6 p.m.

Emergency responders say the family was at home at the time the fire started, but were all able to safely make it outside. Firefighters also rescued two pets from the home.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Preliminary damage estimates have the fire causing approximately $75,000 in damage.
