Westbound I-40 Reopened After Injury Accident

An injury accident on westbound Interstate 40, near Harrah Rd., backed traffic up for miles, Thursday afternoon.

Police have not said how many vehicles were involved, but reported multiple injuries. The severity of those injuries has not been released.

Traffic is now moving normally in the area. Police have not said what caused the accident.
