1 cup strawberry jam
1/3 cup orange juice
1 package cream cheese
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
2 tablespoon sour cream
2 cups whipping cream
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 Braum's pound cake, sliced thin
3 cups sliced fresh strawberries
In a small saucepan simmer together the strawberry jam and orange juice. Remove from heat and allow to cool. In a new medium sized bowl mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, ricotta and powdered sugar. Set aside. Now it is time to assemble!
To assemble: Pour 1/3 of strawberry jam mixture into the bottom of the pan. Spread to cover. Cover the bottom of the pan with the slices of pound cake. Now spread on 1/2 of the cream cheese mixture over the top of the pound cake. Place slices of strawberries over the top and then top with 1/2 of whipped cream. Now it is time to do the second layer. Dip your slices of pound cake in the jam and then continue layers. Finish with whipping cream and garnish with fresh sliced strawberries. Chill for 12 hours.
