A man was arrested on Tuesday for reportedly growing marijuana at his apartment in Norman.
According to court documents, authorities served a search warrant at an apartment, located at 127 Crestland Drive in Norman, and found 16 marijuana plants. Police say the total street value of the seized marijuana is about $20,000.
The suspect, Dustin Ray Morgan, was arrested on charges of cultivation of marijuana and maintaining place for keeping/selling controlled substance.
Several other items were also found during the search, including fertilizer chemical, baggies, numerous bags containing marijuana, and several ledgers containing people's names, amount of marijuana sold, and the price.
Morgan told police he and another person set up the marijuana grow system at his apartment. He said he was trying to make some extra money.
