Emergency Crews Cap Gas Leak In NE OKC

Oklahoma City firefighters are responding to the high-pressure gas leak in the southwest corner of 122nd Street and Kelley.

Emergency crews  have capped a gas leak in northeast Oklahoma City Tuesday afternoon.

Oklahoma City firefighters responded to the high-pressure gas leak in the southwest corner of 122nd Street and Kelley

The fire department tells us construction crews working on a water line hit the six-inch gas line. Hazmat crews, as well as crews with the Oklahoma Natural Gas, responded to the scene to monitor gas in the area.

No one was injured. The intersection was shut down as crews work to cap the leak.
