Freshman outfielder Hunter Haley provided a one-out, walk-off single to score junior infielder Matt Oberste in the 10th inning, pushing the No. 16-ranked University of Oklahoma baseball team to a 4-3 victory and a Big 12 Conference weekend series sweep of TCU Sunday at L. Dale Mitchell Park.

The Sooners (22-4, 3-0 Big 12) ran their winning streak to 10 straight with the victory over the Horned Frogs (9-14, 1-5 Big 12) and won in extra innings for the third time in the last five games. OU is now 4-1 in extras this season.

Oberste started the OU charge in the 10th by shooting a leadoff single up the middle. He moved to second courtesy of a sacrifice bunt by junior infielder Hector Lorenzana, then advanced to third on a passed ball. That set the table for Haley's game-winning hit to center.

Freshman catcher Anthony Hermelyn went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored to lead an OU offense that pounded out 13 hits, marking the 16th time in 2013 the Sooners have collected at least 10 hits. Freshman outfielder Craig Aikin tallied three hits and drove in a run, while Haley and Oberste each posted two hits.

Freshman southpaw reliever Jacob Evans tossed two scoreless frames and earned the pitching victory to improve to 4-0 on the season. Senior lefty Jake Fisher tossed three scoreless innings, and junior southpaw Ethan Carnes threw another.

TCU jumped out to a 3-0 lead through four innings, but OU began chipping away in the fifth. Hermelyn smacked a leadoff base hit to center and scored two outs later by way of an infield single to second by Aikin.

The Sooners knotted the score at three-all in the sixth. Haley hit a one-out single to right, and senior infielder Garrett Carey followed by being hit by a pitch. Hermelyn drove them both home with a double to left center, tying the game.

Oklahoma visits Tulsa on Tuesday to battle Oral Roberts in midweek action. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT.
