OSU's Rose Named Big 12 Player Of The Week

Oklahoma State senior Malika Rose is the Big 12 Player of the Week for matches played March 19-25.

Rose helped the Cowgirls to two big victories last week over No. 47 Illinois and 12th-ranked Nebraska. In singles play, Rose notched an impressive victory over 10th-ranked Mary Weatherholt of Nebraska. Weatherholt was previously undefeated on the season. Rose also teamed up with fellow Cowgirl Kanyapat Narattana to knock off the nation's seventh and 17th-ranked doubles teams.

The award is Rose's first Player of the Week honor, and the first for the Cowgirl tennis program since 2007.
