2-Year-Old Boy Injured After Being Hit By Car In SW OKC

A 2-year-old boy was injured after being hit by a vehicle in southwest Oklahoma City Monday afternoon.

Emergency crews responded to the accident just before 3 p.m. in the 500 block of S.W. 44th Street.

According to police, a family member accidentally hit the boy while backing the car up.

The child has been transported to the hospital. Authorities say his injuries are not life-threatening.
