The OSBI is offering up to a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the homicide of Carina Saunders.
The 19-year-old's body was found in the field west of the Homeland Grocery Store at the intersection of Rockwell and N.E. 23rd Street in Bethany October 13, 2011. The Bethany Police Department worked the case until recently when it requested OSBI take over the investigation.
After a thorough review of the case files produced by Bethany P.D., the OSBI agent assigned this case has determined more work can be performed – through interviews, forensics, and other investigative tools.
However, the OSBI needs the public's help in developing further leads and expanding current ones.
If anyone has any information, knows of any evidence in this case, they are urged to call 1-800-522-8017. The $10,000 reward is the maximum state law allows OSBI to offer.
