An Oklahoma City man was arrested Thursday, for possessing and distributing child pornography after a sting set up by the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children task force and the Guthrie Police Department.
Authorities arrested 39-year-old Earl Bryant at his home, located at 3513 N. Utah Ave. in northwest Oklahoma City, early Thursday morning.
According to investigators, Bryant distributed several pornographic images and videos of children to an undercover Guthrie police officer.
A search warrant was served at Bryant's home and several computer-related items were seized by law enforcement. The computer-related items will be sent to the OSBI Computer Crimes Unit for a forensic search.
Investigators are working to determine if any local children were used in any of the distributed images. Additional charges may still be filed in this case.
Bryant was arrested and taken to the Oklahoma County Jail on a complaint of Distributing Child Pornography and violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act. Information on a possible bond was not released.
The Oklahoma Attorney General's Office and the Oklahoma City Police Department also assisted in the investigation.
