Two juveniles in a stolen truck were arrested in Guthrie after a high-speed chase Wednesday morning, according to the Logan County Sheriff's Office.
A woman in Orlando, Oklahoma, called police around 10 a.m. after she spotted two people trying to steal her car from her driveway. The two suspects sped off in a vehicle they arrived in, a green Chevrolet pickup that deputies later learned had been stolen in Missouri.
The two suspects inside the stolen truck were identified as runaway juveniles. Deputies chased them southbound on State Highway 77 from Orlando to Guthrie. During the chase, deputies learned the juveniles had a rifle and a handgun.
The suspects jumped out of the vehicle and ran when they hit a dead-end road near Country Club Lake. Deputies found the juveniles and took them into custody. Deputies also recovered the guns and the stolen truck. Both suspects are being held at the Logan County Sheriff's Office Detention Center until they can be transferred to a juvenile facility.
