Police are looking for two suspects who reportedly beat up a driver at a stop light in northwest Oklahoma City, and then stole his cellphone and car keys early Tuesday morning.
According to the police report, officers responded to the incident just after midnight at N.W. 50th Street and N. Penn. Avenue in Oklahoma City.
Witnesses told police a blue Ford Taurus was stopped at a stop light, when another SUV pulled up in front of it. Two men reportedly got out of the SUV, walked towards to the driver of the Taurus, and started punching him.
Once the men opened the door, witnesses say they dragged the driver out of the Taurus, and started beating and kicking him. When the victim became unconscious, the men got back into their SUV and drove away.
Officers learned that the suspects also took the victim's cellphone and car keys.
One suspect is described as a man who stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and is of medium build. He was bald, and was wearing a red short sleeve t-shirt and blue denim cargo pants. He had a tear drop tattoo under his left eye.
Witnesses say the other suspect had a cast on his arm.
The suspect vehicle is described as a silver boxy SUV with an Oklahoma tag. There were cross guns in the lower corners of the tag, and possibly another sticker in the center of the tag. There was a sticker that said "Baby On Board" on the back window of the SUV.
The victim was transported to the Deaconess Hospital. He suffered a cut to his head, a broken nose and a busted lip.
