A Lawton woman was killed in a single-vehicle rollover accident in Comanche County, Saturday evening.

It happened just after 6 p.m. on Gore Blvd, less than half a mile from state highway 65.

According to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 26-year-old Ariana Spriggs was driving eastbound on Gore Blvd. in a 2004 Dodge Durango, when she departed the roadway to the left for an unknown reason.

The vehicle continued to travel on the left hand shoulder for another 53 feet before reentering the roadway and over-correcting to the right before entering into a broad slide.

The Durango then began to roll two times. Spriggs was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected 114 feet from the wreck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

OHP Troopers are still investigating the cause of the accident.
