Man Caught Running Naked Through Downtown OKC

Several witnesses called 911 Friday, April 19, after seeing a man run naked near the Myriad Gardens in downtown Oklahoma City.

On Oklahoma City officer found 59-year-old Clifford Anderson near the downtown library at Park and Hudson. According to the police report, Anderson was naked and yelling "at the top of his lungs" about demons in his soul and brain.

Police pointed tasers at Anderson and ordered him to lie on the ground. He eventually complied and police handcuffed him. Officers thought Anderson may be on drugs so they called EMSA to the scene to transport Anderson to a nearby hospital.

Tests showed there were no drugs in Anderson's system. After he was medically cleared, he was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a complaint of public indecency.
