Firefighters have given the all clear following a gas line break in the 2300 block of S.W. 93rd Street.
Construction crews struck the line while working near S.W. 89th Street and Penn around 2 p.m. Wednesday. The break forced the evacuation of several homes in the area.
ONG crews have capped the line and all residents were allowed back into their homes. No injuries are reported.
This gas line break is less than a mile from a home at S.W. 92nd and Villa that exploded in January of this year after another gas leak. The home owner was hurt in the blast, but no one was killed.
