It was an early, chilly morning for the more than 24,000 people who participated in this year's Memorial Marathon. We are here where it all started NW 5th and Harvey, right next to the gates that mark the memorial spot mark the entrance to the bombing memorial.

News 9 saw people here not only supporting those who died here in OKC, but so many people out here are supporting those who were injured or killed in the Boston marathon bombings, just a few weeks ago. We saw people wearing special T-shirts, we saw people of course wearing those red sox and of course everyone here had a reason to run.

Out of the thousands of runners and walkers who participated in the full marathon and the half marathon and the 5K, we know there are folks from all over the nation and all over the world taking part.

It's amazing to see this outpouring of support to remember those who died here in 1995 and of course to remember those who were injured and killed in the Boston marathon as well.
