A hunter discovered the bodies of an elderly brother and sister on some land in rural Love County, Friday night, and investigators believe the two are victims of homicide.

Agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) were called to assist the Love County Sheriff's office with the investigation, after a hunter discovered the bodies of 78-year-old Thomas and 80-year-old Marion Culwell, on their property.

The two had apparently been clearing a fence line before their deaths.

The medical examiner will work to determine the official cause of death for the Culwells, but investigators say trauma to the bodies is indicative of homicide.

Agents were busy Saturday collecting evidence from the scene and interviewing a number of people.

If you have any information about this case, please call the OSBI hotline at 1 (800) 522-8017.
