The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is hoping a $5,000 reward will lead to the arrest of a suspect in the murders of an elderly brother and sister.
Hunters discovered the bodies of Thomas Culwell, 78, and Almenia Culwell, 80, on Friday, May 3. The Culwells owned several acres of land in rural Love County. Investigators say they were repairing a fence when they were killed.
The OSBI is not yet saying how the siblings died. The Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office is performing autopsies on the victims.
OSBI agents have interviewed several people and recovered possible evidence from the scene, but they’ve made no arrests. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
