All severe weather parameters will be present this afternoon, and in sufficient quantities to warrant a moderate, to high threat of severe weather within the Tornado Watch. Threats include: destructive hail larger than baseballs, damaging thunderstorm wind gusts in excess of 75 mph and tornadoes.

The tornado potential will elevate this evening as low level winds increase, especially east of I-35 for portions of northeastern OK. If storms can remain discrete at this time, the potential for strong tornadoes will exist.
